The spacious park of Schloss Prugg is an impressive example of English (YES – “English”) gardening art of the 18th century and is today one of the most important systems in Central Europe. Exotic magnificent specimens of solitary old trees (century old, gnarled oaks, giant beech trees, bald cypress, picturesque Hanging hornbeams, and extremely rare, ancient oriental plane trees) stand next local trees. Wide flower-filled meadows alternate with dark mysterious forest paths, numerous intertwined tributaries of the Leitha River run through the Park bridged by ornate arches. The park was revitalized in recent years and is open hikers, joggers and nature lovers alike.

Guided hikes are recommended to study the extensive flora and fauna- There are groups for both adults and children.
